Onyx Equities secures new lease at The Arbors @Parsippany; Porzio, Bromberg & Newman signs 16-year 43K sq. ft. lease

Onyx Equities’ The Arbors @ Parsippany continues its accelerated leasing trajectory with the addition of law firm Porzio, Bromberg & Newman signing a 16-year 43,101 sq. ft. lease at 5 Sylvan Way in Parsippany.

Porzio, Bromberg & Newman will be moving their headquarters from 100 Southgate Parkway in Morristown to The Arbors Campus which boasts upgraded amenities and connectivity to NJ Transit and interstate highways.

Porzio is the latest addition to the 60-acre campus which has seen an influx of new tenants now occupying a total of 89,000 sq ft.

Porzio, Bromberg & Newman was founded in 1962 as a general practice firm and had previously been based in Morristown, New Jersey. With over 90 attorneys in several offices and states, practice areas include bankruptcy and financial restructuring, corporate law, intellectual property, employment law, cannabis, casino and gaming, manufacturing, real estate, personal injury and malpractice, government affairs, along with environmental law and others.

“Our firm has been in Morristown for its entire existence, so it took something spectacular to lure us to a new location, admittedly only a few miles away,” Vito Gagliardi, Jr., managing principal at Porzio, said. “The attraction to us goes beyond the physical office and includes the entire campus and the extraordinary professionals at Onyx. I would like to thank my colleagues Carmen Andrade, Diane Averell, Nick Drappi, and Phil Siana for so capably leading the team that negotiated our new lease. We look forward to moving our headquarters to The Arbors.”

The Arbors has a convenient location and exceptional onsite lifestyle amenities, including a 5,200 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center, three inviting cafes, well-equipped conference facilities, multiple social lounges, outdoor dining areas, and additional recreational spaces designed for relaxation and entertainment. Surrounded by abundant green space, the campus also boasts 1.5 miles of scenic walking, biking, and hiking paths, as well as regular event programming, enhancing the work-life balance for its tenants.

“We are thrilled to welcome Porzio, Bromberg & Newman to The Arbors, a clear indication of the growing interest in our modernized working and amenity spaces that continue to attract great companies eager to be part of an energetic campus atmosphere,” Onyx Equities’ co-founder and managing principal, Jonathan Schultz said.

Josh Cohen of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, Porzio, Bromberg & Newman.
