
John Rosero has been named general counsel of Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut, the organization announced
Rosero, who assumed this leadership role late last month, will oversee the organization’s legal and compliance functions and Delta Dental’s government affairs operations.
Rosero joins DDNJCT following an accomplished career at Prudential Financial, where he held several senior leadership positions, including chief compliance officer for U.S. Businesses, chief legal officer and chief counsel.
At Prudential, he provided expert counsel on matters ranging from regulatory compliance to corporate governance, distribution, and strategic initiatives.
DDNJCT CEO Paul Di Maio applauded the announcement.
“John brings a wealth of experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes to the organization and strategic vision to our growth and innovation strategies,” he said. “His distinguished track record in legal and transformation leadership, combined with expertise in compliance, risk management, and corporate governance within the insurance industry, will be a critical asset to Delta Dental.

Rosero said he is eager to take on the role.

Rosero holds a Ph.D. in Global Affairs from Rutgers University, an LL.M. in Corporation Law from New York University School of Law, and a J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.
