North Brunswick-based The Furniture X-Change recently appointed Theo Silverberg as president where he will assume oversight of sales, client services and partnerships, finance, and operational activities.
Silverberg has over 13 years of experience with The Furniture X-Change, most recently serving as senior vice president of sales.
Founded in 1997 by Brian Silverberg, who continues to serve as the company’s principal, his brother Mark Silverberg, who retired in 2022, and Rob Kessler, who is now a principal at the office space design company, K Offices, The Furniture X-Change has consistently achieved double-digit sales growth and expanded its client base across multiple regions.
“Theo has been instrumental in building The Furniture X-Change into the company it is today,” Brian Silverberg said. “His deep understanding of our business, strong leadership capabilities, and the exceptional team he has assembled in both sales and operations, make him the ideal choice to lead our company into its next phase of growth. We have ambitious plans for expansion, both geographically and in the services we offer, and the types of clients we serve.”
“The Furniture X-Change is uniquely positioned to address the growing demand for reliable, cost effective, and sustainable office furniture solutions. Our integrated approach, combining decommissioning and liquidation services with furniture remanufacturing and resale, offers a truly circular solution for corporate office furniture management. I’m excited to lead our talented team as we expand our reach and help more organizations achieve their sustainability goals while optimizing their office furniture investments,” THeo Silverberg said.
