Cushman & Wakefield finalizes lease up at Onyx Equities’ 350K SF office building in Paramus

Cushman & Wakefield on Monday said that 650 From Road in Paramus is now 100% leased as the real estate services firm has arranged close to 200,000 square feet of new long-term leases at the premier office and medical building owned by Onyx Equities.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Ben Brenner, Mark Zaziski and David DeMatteis represented Onyx in this significant accomplishment.

“In 2019, Onyx Equities tasked our team with developing a lease up strategy to convert a well-known, legacy office building into a premier office and medical destination,” Brenner said. “Ultimately, the building’s transformation and strategic location attracted the state’s top medical users, including anchor tenant Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive health network.”

650 From Road offers a modern experience with over $10 million invested into recent capital improvements. The five-story building features sophisticated lobbies, a full-service food hall, a state-of-the-art conference center and indoor and outdoor employee lounge areas. Additional amenities include a wellness path, outdoor dining areas and a pond.

In addition to Hackensack Meridian Health’s commitment at the building, long-term leases have been signed by Quality Medical Management Services, Unified Woman’s Health, Phoenix Power Group and NJ Brain and Spine, P.C.

“The successful repositioning and lease up of 650 From Road are proof that combining the right team with a well located and properly renovated asset is a winning formula,” DJ Venn, executive vice president of Asset Management for Onyx Equities said.

Located off Route 17 and the Garden State Parkway, 650 From Road provides easy access to shopping and dining along the Route 17 retail corridor and Paramus Park Mall. The building’s strategic location and extensive amenities make it an ideal choice for the state’s top users.
