ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research announced that Kate Tarpey has been appointed as chief financial officer for the Society. This is a new position at ISPOR and speaks to the growth of both the Society and the increasing role of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) in health care.
Tarpey comes to the Lawrenceville-based organization with more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit financial operations management. Most recently, she served as chief financial officer for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, Inc. Previously, she has worked for education and nonprofit organizations in finance and operational roles.
