East Coast Warehouse & Distribution names Maersk’s O’Donnell VP of sales of life sciences vertical

Elizabeth-based East Coast Warehouse & Distribution recently named Bob O’Donnell vice president of sales for its Life Sciences vertical. In this role, O’Donnell will lead this designed sales vertical focused on Life Sciences for all geographies.

O’Donnell joins East Coast Warehouse from Maersk, where he served as global head of lead logistics & cold chain logistics growth. Starting in Asia Pacific, continuing to North America and then in a global function, O’Donnell developed Maersk’s end-to-end temperature controlled cold chain logistics product. This included order management, trucking, cold storage, customs clearance, ocean and air freight for meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables and pharmaceuticals.

“We are excited to have Bob join our organization and lead our Life Sciences vertical,” Kevin Daly, chief commercial officer of East Coast Warehouse & Distribution, said. “As we continue to expand our geographic footprint it is equally necessary to expand the markets we serve. Bob’s experience and market knowledge allow us to immediately have industry credibility as we continue to develop our offering. While we are already servicing several Life Sciences customers, our goal of providing a GDP Certified, temperature-controlled network will be industry leading.”
