Nuvvon opens new state-of-the-art laboratory in Parsippany to support growth and insource cell building

Nuvvon recently celebrated a ribbon-cutting to mark the opening of new laboratory in Parsippany.

The innovator in advanced solid-state battery technologies said the new facility will significantly enhances the company’s capabilities to research, develop and build solid-state pouch cells, utilizing novel solid polymer electrolytes to create non-flammable, chemically inert, and safe lithium batteries.

“Nuvvon is proud to be a New Jersey-based company that invests in the local economy while delivering safer, higher performance and sustainable battery solutions to the energy sector,” Jonathan Lex, Nuvvon chief operating officer said. “By establishing operations domestically, Nuvvon will develop materials that increase the opportunity for a USA-centric supply chain.”

The new facility quadruples existing floorspace, consolidating research, manufacturing and testing activities into one location.

Nuvvon welcomed investors, partners and members of the local business community, including the Mayor of Parsippany and the Chairman of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Economic Development Committee to the NJ laboratory.
