DRG Architects has acquired Vitetta Architects and Engineers, a Pennsylvania-based firm known for its historic preservation and public sector projects, expanding DRG’s presence into the Philadelphia and Harrisburg markets.

The acquisition allows Somerset-based DRG to grow its footprint while maintaining Vitetta’s legacy and brand name in the marketplace. The combined firms will offer expanded design expertise and resources to clients across the region.
In addition to its headquarters in Somerset, DRG also has an office in Manhattan.
“This merger represents an exciting step forward for both DRG Architects and Vitetta,” DRG Architects CEO Hany Salib said. “By bringing together our expertise and resources, we are better positioned to serve our clients with innovative, high-quality designs that create lasting impacts.”
Vitetta is recognized for its expertise in historic preservation and public sector projects.
“Vitetta’s history of success and design excellence aligns perfectly with DRG’s mission and values,” Salib said.
Vitetta’s offices in Media and Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, will remain open, and the firm’s team, leadership and projects will continue uninterrupted, Daniel Vodzak, principal-in-charge at Vitetta, said.
“I’m enthusiastic for this next phase of Vitetta and am looking forward to working with DRG Architects to expand our resources and further elevate the excellence of our services,” he said.
DRG Architects, which specializes in creating innovative, functional and sustainable designs for clients across diverse sectors, has served the region for more than six decades.
The acquisition strengthens DRG’s ability to take on transformative projects in Pennsylvania while complementing its work in New York and New Jersey. With more than 60 years in business, DRG specializes in creating sustainable and functional designs for education, government and mixed-use developments.
