- Deborah Heart and Lung Center successfully performed its 3000th robotic ablation using the Stereotaxis Remote Navigation system, the first hospital on the East Coast to achieve this milestone.
- Deborah completed its first left atrial appendage occlusion procedure using intracardiac echocardiography.
- Deborah completed its first Stereotaxis robotic ablation and left atrial appendage occlusion concomitant procedure.
- Deborah Heart and Lung Center performed its first procedure using the Neuroguard IEP System, a minimally invasive treatment option for carotid artery disease.
- Deborah’s first TriClip transcatheter edge-to-edge repair procedure was performed. This minimally invasive procedure treats leaky tricuspid valves.

- Deborah Heart and Lung Center successfully implanted the Barostim device. This innovative heart failure therapy uses the power of the brain and nervous system to improve symptoms for patients with systolic heart failure.
- Deborah Heart and Lung Center earned Healthgrades 2024 Outstanding Patient Experience Award. Healthgrades, an organization dedicated to helping consumers make data-driven decisions about their healthcare providers, recognized Deborah as one of the nation’s top hospitals.
- Deborah Heart and Lung Center successfully implanted AVEIR DR, the world’s first dual chamber leadless pacemaker system from Abbott that effectively treats people with abnormal or slow heart rhythms. The groundbreaking system is a new minimally invasive option to treat the nearly 80 percent of people who require pacing in two chambers of the heart.
