National Retail Solutions (NRS) integrates with Google to help independent retailers attract more local shoppers

National Retail Solutions (NRS) has announced a new integration with Google, designed to make it easier for independent retailers to connect with local customers searching for their products.

Through this collaboration, retailers can automatically highlight their in-store inventory on Google Search, Google Maps, and the Shopping tab, increasing visibility and driving foot traffic to their stores.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Google on this initiative to equip our retailers with the tools they need to succeed,” said Ari B. Korman, senior vice president of E-commerce at NRS. “This integration provides an entirely automated and hassle-free online presence, making it easier for stores to attract more customers.”

With this new feature, NRS retailers can effortlessly reach local shoppers actively searching for products they carry. When customers look for specific items on Google, they’ll see which nearby stores have them in stock and can visit the retailer’s storefront to complete their purchase.

Retailers with a verified Google Business Profile can take advantage of this integration, ensuring accurate product listings linked to the correct store location. This not only builds customer trust but also improves discoverability online.

By eliminating the need for manual updates and product uploads, the integration offers a fully automated solution—at no cost to retailers.

“At NRS, we are dedicated to providing independent retailers with the technology they need to compete with larger chains,” said Elie Y. Katz, president, and CEO of NRS. “Our partnership with Google allows these businesses to effortlessly connect with local shoppers, helping them grow and succeed like never before.”
