CareCloud Inc., a leader in health care technology and AI-driven revenue cycle management solutions, is back in growth mode with its latest acquisition.
The company, based in Somerset, has officially acquired Mesa, LLC, d/b/a MesaBilling, in a deal finalized last week. While modest in size, this transaction marks the beginning of CareCloud’s renewed focus on strategic expansion, reinforcing its leadership in the healthcare billing industry.
“Joining forces with CareCloud allows our clients to access a broader suite of AI-powered solutions, setting the stage for even greater success,” said Marc Dobberstein, managing member of MesaBilling.Â
CareCloud’s Co-CEO Stephen Snyder emphasized the company’s vision for growth: “Acquisitions have always been central to CareCloud’s success, and we are ready to reignite that momentum. The healthcare industry is evolving rapidly, and we plan to lead the charge. This acquisition is just the beginning of an exciting new phase of strategic deals, impactful partnerships, and sustained growth.”Â
Between 2012 and 2022, CareCloud (Nasdaq: CCLD, CCLDO, CCLDP) executed more than 20 acquisitions, driving a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 30 percent. After a brief pause since mid-2021, the company is shifting into high gear, starting with MesaBilling.
This renewed push for acquisitions comes at a time when medical practices are increasingly seeking technology-driven financial management solutions. CareCloud aims to scale its platform using its proprietary AI-powered revenue cycle management and automation tools, delivering streamlined services to a broader network of health care providers.
