Digital strategist Megan Coyne joins Mercury Public Affairs as vice president

Mercury Public Affairs, a leading bipartisan public strategy firm, has announced the addition of Megan Coyne as vice president. A nationally recognized digital strategist, Coyne brings a track record of crafting viral, impactful messaging at both the New Jersey Governor’s Office and the White House.

“Megan knows how to create content that cuts through the noise—an essential skill in today’s fast-paced digital landscape,” said Michael Soliman, Mercury partner and head of the New Jersey office. “Her expertise will be a tremendous asset to our clients both locally and nationally.”

Coyne previously served as Deputy Director of Platforms in the White House Office of Digital Strategy, where she helped shape the Biden-Harris administration’s online presence and launched the first-ever White House Reddit account. Before that, as social media director for Gov. Murphy, she transformed the state’s official X account into a viral sensation.

“Mercury is a leader in political communications, and I’m excited to bring my experience to their team,” said Coyne.

A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in media, Coyne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University.
