Circulate NJ has announced the addition of Solar Landscape and Casdale Energy Cost Management to its coalition, expanding its network of more than 40 organizations representing all sectors of New Jersey’s Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution (TLD) industries. The coalition’s members include port workers, warehouses, retail developers, trucking companies, and other key players in the state’s supply chain.

“Solar Landscape and Casdale Energy Cost Management bring sustainability expertise to the coalition, along with unique perspectives on several components of the logistics industry,” said David Greek, chair of Circulate NJ and managing partner of Greek Real Estate Partners. “Their insights will be invaluable as we continue to bring education and information on the industry to the public. We thank them for joining us and look forward to announcing additional members soon.”

Solar Landscape is the nation’s leading commercial rooftop solar developer, with more than 75millionsquare feet of solar projects deployed in partnership with more than 80 commercial real estate companies. The company has invested more than $1.5 billion in solar installations and was recently named the No. 1 Distributed Generation developer for 2023 by New Project Media. Additionally, it received the U.S. Department of Energy’s Community Solar Grand Prize.

Casdale Energy Cost Management is an advisory firm that helps commercial facility owners and managers reduce energy costs through efficiency solutions such as LED lighting conversions, electricity and natural gas procurement, and HVAC system upgrades. The company also assists clients with building security enhancements, including emergency power backup systems and advanced security technology.

Circulate NJ’s coalition members play a significant role in driving New Jersey’s economy. According to the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development, the TLD industry:

  • Supports more than 400,000 jobs across the state.
  • Employs 12 percent of New Jersey’s private workforce, providing 12.7 percent of private sector wages.
  • Offers an average annual salary of $75,000.
  • Contributes $62.5 billion to the state’s economy, accounting for 10 percent of New Jersey’s GDP.

In addition to economic contributions, Circulate NJ’s members have led efforts in environmental cleanup, rehabilitating hazardous brownfield sites across the state—from Jersey City to Lower Alloways Creek Township, Salem County. These projects have transformed contaminated sites into productive, usable spaces for communities.
