Optimum Business and the Edison Chamber announce winners of ‘Lifting up Small Businesses’ program

The Edison Chamber of Commerce, together with Optimum Business, a provider of fiber internet, mobile, TV and phone services, which has a heavy presence in New Jersey, recently announced the winners of the Lifting up Small Businesses in Edison, New Jersey program, which will directly fund 20 small businesses in Edison.

Each small business will receive a $5,000 grant to help support their growth and long-term success while further expanding and contributing to the prosperity of the communities where they serve.

Featured grant recipients include:

  • Dr. Isaac Menasha, DDS: Over the last four years, the dental practice has been making much needed upgrades and improvements, and with these additional funds the driveway and parking lot can also be updated.
  • Frappe Joe Coffee Roasters: A coffee shop undergoing a remodel that plans to use the funds to help with a kitchen expansion and installation of exterior building signage.
  • Jones Automotive: An auto repair shop hoping to build a website to better serve and support its customers in the community and surrounding area.
  • Oakwood Pizza: A longstanding Edison restaurant that will plan to use the grant funds to refresh their indoor and outdoor signage and invest in marketing to reach more residents in the area.

“Supporting the development of small businesses not only drives economic success but also fosters innovation and resilience in our communities. Optimum Business is honored to partner with the Edison Chamber of Commerce to bring a grant program to Edison that celebrates and assists small businesses, ensuring their continued success,” Elton Hart, vice president, general manager of Optimum New York Tri-State, said. “On behalf of Optimum Business, we extend our congratulations to the 20 grant recipients and look forward to partnering with all of the applicants to support their growth and continue making a positive impact on Edison.”

“We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the Lifting up Small Businesses in Edison,” Joe Coyle, president of Edison Chamber of Commerce, said. “These innovative and determined entrepreneurs embody the spirit of creativity and resilience that drives our local economy forward. We are honored to support their ventures and look forward to witnessing the incredible growth and impact they will undoubtedly achieve with this funding. Congratulations to all 20 winners and thank you for your commitment to excellence and community development in Edison.”
