First Environment adds Douglas Chabrak as Senior Environmental Permitting Project Manager

First Environment Inc., an environmental engineering and consulting firm, has announced that Douglas J. Chabrak, a professional wetlands scientist, has joined the firm as Senior Environmental Permitting Project Manager.

Chabrak will help drive strategic growth and service expertise in private and public sectors, with a focus on transportation and infrastructure projects. He will significantly strengthen the firm’s natural resources group’s capabilities and expertise on a diverse range of contracts. With more than 36 years of technical and managerial experience working at environmental engineering firms, he brings project delivery experience with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, the New Jersey Department of Transportation, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Prior to joining First Environment, Chabrak worked in senior management roles for Note-Harvey Associates Inc. (division of Pennoni), Suburban Consulting Engineers, Inc., and Amy S. Greene Environmental Consultants Inc. Project work included oversight on contracts for regional airports, stormwater outfall construction, bridge replacement, and roadway reconstruction. He earned a Bachelor Science degree in Environmental Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
