New Jersey gaming revenue sees mixed results in February

Online gaming continues upward trend

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement reported a mixed bag of gaming revenue results for February 2025, with total gaming revenue reaching $484.8 million, a 5.1 percent increase from February 2024.

Casino Win: Brick-and-mortar casinos saw a 3.8 percent decline, generating $203.5 million. Year-to-date revenue was down slightly by 0.7 percent.

Internet Gaming: Online gaming continued its upward trend, rising 14 percent to $207.8 million for the month and 17.4 percent year-to-date.

Sports Betting: Sports wagering revenue grew 8.9 percent in February to $73.6 million, but year-to-date figures dropped 17.9 percent compared to 2024.

Total Revenue: Overall, the state’s gaming industry surpassed $1 billion in revenue for the year so far, marking a 1.8 percent increase.

Despite the decline in in-person casino earnings, the rise in internet gaming and sports betting highlights the industry’s ongoing shift toward digital platforms.
