The Ocean City Planning Board has granted final site plan approval for the Soleil Resort, a luxury condominium hotel planned for 1101 Ocean Ave. The six-story development, adjacent to the historic Flanders Hotel, will feature 111 condo units, each with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and private outdoor spaces.
Amenities are set to include a fourth-floor pool and sun deck with ocean views, a fitness center and spa, concierge services, room service, an on-site café/restaurant, and a covered parking garage. The project, spearheaded by developer Select Properties Inc. based in Comar, Pa., marks a significant step in Ocean City’s hospitality and residential offerings. While the approval finalizes plans for development, the future of the project remains uncertain, as the property is currently listed for sale.
