Rose Commercial brokers sale of Cherry Hill’s Unique Interiors building

Ilkem Marble and Granite Expands Footprint with new showroom

Rose Commercial Real Estate has brokered the sale of the 12,000-square-foot Unique Interiors showroom, a longtime fixture along Cherry Hill’s Route 70, to Ilkem Marble & Granite, a well-known regional business expanding its operations.

The freestanding retail property at 1604 Marlton Pike (Route 70) West is strategically positioned amid national retailers, auto dealerships, and dining establishments, benefiting from traffic counts exceeding 55,000 vehicles per day—key factors in the buyer’s decision.

Rose Commercial Real Estate’s Adam Rose and Michelle Marinello represented sellers Bob and Kathy Deniken, who operated Unique Interiors for nearly four decades before deciding to retire. The transaction, which closed at the end of 2024 for $1.2 million, marks the transition of a family-owned business that has served the South Jersey market for generations.

“Representing the Denikens in this sale was bittersweet,” said Adam Rose, president of Rose Commercial Real Estate. “They built a respected business, and we appreciate their trust in guiding them through this important decision.”

For Ilkem Marble & Granite, the acquisition supports continued growth in the region. The company, known for its high-end natural stone surfaces, is expected to leverage the location’s strong visibility and customer traffic to enhance its retail and distribution presence.

This sale reflects the ongoing demand for well-located commercial real estate in Cherry Hill’s competitive retail corridor, where businesses seek high-traffic sites for expansion and long-term investment.
