Prudential Names Caroline Feeney CEO of Global Retirement and Insurance Businesses

Prudential Financial has expanded the role of Caroline Feeney, appointing her as CEO of Global Retirement and Insurance Businesses, a newly created position that will oversee the company’s domestic and international retirement and insurance operations. 

Feeney, who has led Prudential’s U.S. Businesses since 2021 as executive vice president and CEO, U.S. Businesses, will now manage retirement and insurance operations across 12 countries, including the Group Insurance, Individual Life Insurance, Retirement Strategies, and Prudential Advisors divisions in the U.S. The U.S. business segment serves more than 5 million individual customers, 3,000 institutional clients, and 20 million employee and member customers.

She will also continue overseeing Prudential’s Service organization, which provides operational support and customer service for the firm’s insurance and retirement clients. 

Feeney, a Prudential veteran who started her career with the company in the early 1990s as a sales manager in its financial advisor organization, brings decades of leadership experience to the newly created role. 

Her appointment reflects Prudential’s strategy to strengthen its global footprint in retirement and insurance markets, leveraging Feeney’s expertise to drive growth and enhance customer solutions worldwide.
