Casio America is undergoing a major strategic transformation aimed at modernizing operations, fostering innovation and positioning the company for long-term growth. As part of the shift, the company will relocate its headquarters to Jersey City, establish a new operations center in Rockaway Township, and open a distribution hub in Sparks, Nev. to enhance logistics and e-commerce capabilities.
“This is a strategic investment in Casio’s future,” said Tom Kato, chairman and CEO of Casio America. “By embracing modern work environments, expanding access to key talent, and optimizing operations, we are ensuring Casio remains at the forefront of innovation, efficiency and long-term growth.”
New headquarters, operations center and distribution hub:
Casio’s new headquarters at 185 Hudson St. in Jersey City will serve as the company’s sales and marketing hub, offering a collaborative workspace designed to drive creativity and adaptability. Its location provides access to key business partners, vendors and a broader talent pool while strengthening Casio’s ability to meet evolving market demands.
The company’s new operations center at 100 Enterprise Drive in Rockaway will centralize its finance, legal, IT, customer service and business administration functions, improving efficiency across critical departments.
Additionally, a new distribution center at 420 Ingenuity Drive in Sparks, Nev., will enhance logistics capabilities, supporting Casio’s growing direct-to-consumer and e-commerce operations. The state-of-the-art facility is expected to streamline fulfillment and improve customer service.
Casio has pledged to support employees during the transition, offering commuter benefits, flexible work arrangements and workplace resources. To keep employees informed, the company is implementing ongoing feedback forums, informational sessions and leadership engagement initiatives.
“This transition is about creating an environment where our employees can thrive, collaborate and continue to innovate,” said Pamela Cosmillo, general manager of human resources at Casio America. “We are dedicated to supporting our teams every step of the way, providing the tools and resources needed to navigate this change successfully.”
Casio also reaffirmed its commitment to the local communities it serves. As it transitions to new locations, the company will continue working with community leaders to identify and address local needs, ensuring a positive and lasting impact.
Casio is working to ensure a smooth transition for employees, customers and business operations. Employee engagement initiatives will begin in early 2025, with office relocations planned for late summer. The company expects to complete the sale of its Dover campus by the end of 2025, marking the final step in its transformation.
Casio’s investment in modern facilities, expanded collaboration and sustainable business practices reflects its long-term commitment to efficiency, innovation and responsible growth.
“This strategic evolution strengthens Casio’s foundation for future growth,” said Kato. “By embracing change today, we are building a future defined by innovation, collaboration and long-term success.”
