The African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey (AACCNJ) has announced the honorees for its 2025 Women Who Empower Awards Luncheon, which will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 6 at the Princeton Marriott at Forrestal.
This year’s honorees are:
- Michelle Bodden, chief diversity and inclusion officer, New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
- Barbara George Johnson, MPH, J.D., vice president of external affairs and urban policy, John S. Watson Institute for Urban Policy and Research at Kean University.
- Dr. Dionne Ledford, executive director and superintendent, Roseville Community Charter School.
- Lisa N. Lovell, MBA, a financial planner with Prudential Advisors, will serve as the keynote speaker in a fireside conversation moderated by Faye Coleman, CEO of Pure Genesis and a member of the AACCNJ board of directors.
“At our Women Who Empower Awards Luncheon, we will recognize outstanding women who contribute to the success of New Jersey and the nation every day,” said John E. Harmon Sr., IOM, founder, president and CEO of AACCNJ. “Lisa Lovell’s keynote will be a highlight of the event, as Prudential’s efforts to support small businesses align with our mission.”
