The New Jersey International Trade Awards (NJITA) has announced its 2025 honorees, recognizing outstanding exporters for their contributions to global commerce.
“We are incredibly proud of this year’s honorees and the impact they have on international trade,” said Susan Widmer, director at the U.S. Department of Commerce and secretary of the New Jersey District Export Council. A key founder of NJITA, Widmer emphasized the vital role New Jersey business leaders play in the international marketplace.
Under Widmer’s leadership, along with support from her team and marketing partner ROI-NJ, NJITA provides a platform for exporters to share their experiences and insights. Winners will offer candid discussions on their successes and challenges, offering valuable guidance for both new and experienced exporters across industries.
The 2025 award recipients are:
- Exporter of the Year: Dock 7 Materials Group
- Service Exporter of the Year: Pioneer Consulting
- Minority/Diverse Exporter of the Year: Spectra Colors Corp.
- New Exporter of the Year: Alnima Natural Solutions Inc.
Dawn Cecco, director of distributor sales at Repechage, praised the selection process and the judging panel.
“Looking at this impressive list, it’s clear we owe a debt of gratitude to our judges, who faced the tough task of selecting this year’s winners,” Cecco said. “Our heartfelt thanks go to Michele Siekerka, president and CEO of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association; Tony Russo, president of the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey and CEO and publisher of COMMERCE magazine, and Chris Edwards, president and CEO of the Somerset County Business Partnership.”
