YunExpress, a global third-party logistics provider, has signed a long-term lease for 146,000-square-feet at Crow Holdings at Carteret, marking the company’s regional expansion in New Jersey.
The lease at 400 Salt Meadow Road brings a third tenant to the 1.2 million-square-foot industrial campus, located just off Exit 12 of the New Jersey Turnpike. YunExpress, founded in 2014, is one of China’s leading logistics companies serving cross-border e-commerce sellers. The company already maintains a presence in the Exit 8A submarket.
“Crow Holdings at Carteret’s unparalleled location and world-class, ready-for-occupancy distribution space hit all the marks for YunExpress,” said Clark Machemer, senior managing director of Crow Holdings Development.
YunExpress joins DSV Global Transport and Logistics and Weida Freight System Inc. at the campus. One full-building opportunity remains — 480,000 square feet at 500 Salt Meadow Road.
Tenant representation was provided by Christopher Marx, Chris O’Connor, Steve Card, Chris Marx Jr., Taylor DeRisi and Peter Starr of Savills. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jules Nissim, Stan Danzig and Kimberly Bach negotiated the lease on behalf of Crow Holdings.
The 126-acre Carteret campus is 13 miles from Port Newark-Elizabeth Marine Terminal and near major highways, Newark Liberty International Airport and New York City crossings. It benefits from a 30-year PILOT agreement, offering long-term tax stability.
Crow Holdings Development has introduced more than 4.2 million square feet of new industrial space since 2020, with 1 million square feet currently under construction across New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
