Christine Guhl-Sadovy was appointed President of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) in 2023, bringing extensive experience in energy policy and regulatory leadership, having previously served as Chief of Staff at NJBPU and Cabinet Secretary under Gov. Murphy. There, she played a key role in implementing the 2018 Clean Energy Act, the 2019 Energy Master Plan, and the state’s electric vehicle incentive program. Guhl-Sadovy’s leadership is focused on accelerating New Jersey’s clean energy transition, overseeing renewables, energy efficiency, and infrastructure modernization policies. She also serves on the board of Anchor House Inc., supporting youth experiencing homelessness. As the state advances its renewable energy and sustainability goals, Guhl-Sadovy is at the forefront of shaping policies that impact businesses, utilities, and the broader energy sector.
