Architect opens home concept store in Westfield

Anastasia Harrison, owner of architecture and design studio AHD&Co, is introducing Heirloom, a bespoke home concept store in downtown Westfield.

The store is located below the AHD&Co offices at 112 Elm Street, the main artery for Westfield business.

Westfield, with a population of about 30,000, is annually cited among the best downtowns in New Jersey and the U.S., and among the most affluent. According to World Population Review, the average household income in Westfield is $297,367.

In a press release, Heirloom said it “blends timeless design and modern functionality through high-quality furnishings, gifts, and curated design experiences.”

The store offers a selection of customizable furnishings, lighting, antiques, rugs, art, linens, and home gifts. Brands range from Currey & Company to Vanguard. Heirloom said it plans “seasonal vignettes that display its offerings in styled living environments to help customers effortlessly visualize their designs.”

Anastasia Harrison said “Besides Westfield being the home base for my family and my business, it is a natural location for Heirloom’s offering, and I’m looking forward to being able to better serve the local community.”

Heirloom is partnering with local artists and craftsmen to bring their works to the store. These include Ricardo Roig of Roig Collection, a contemporary fine artist with galleries in Westfield and Hoboken; Michelle Weintraub, a health and wellness professional and founder of Forevergreen, who offers a line of handcrafted candles made from all-natural, organic ingredients; and Almost Home General, a pop-up with refreshments in-store and a coffee cart outdoors during the grand opening events ahead of its own upcoming launch in Westfield this spring.

Heirloom also will host ongoing professional programming even that include industry talks and collaborative workshops to encourage community and innovation.
