AppWork, a fast-growing SaaS company focused on modernizing maintenance operations in the multifamily housing sector, has raised $13 million in Series A funding led by Resolve Growth Partners, the company announced Monday.
The Ramsey-based startup, launched in 2022, provides a mobile-first platform built specifically for property management teams to automate and streamline maintenance workflows. The goal: improve operational efficiency, boost resident satisfaction and drive stronger net operating income.
“Maintenance is one of the most critical drivers of resident experience and operational success, yet it remains underserved by legacy solutions,” said Sean Landsberg, co-founder and CEO of AppWork. “We started AppWork to give maintenance teams software they actually enjoy using.”
The company has gained traction rapidly, seeing over 300% year-over-year growth. Its client base includes NMHC 50 operators as well as mid-market property owners and managers. With this latest funding round, AppWork plans to double down on product development and expand its customer success efforts to support a growing national footprint.
Resolve Growth Partners, a Baltimore-based equity firm focused on vertical SaaS investments, said AppWork’s momentum and product focus made it a standout.
“We’ve spent years tracking the evolution of software in multifamily property management, and AppWork stands out as the clear leader in modern maintenance operations,” said Jit Sinha, co-founder and partner at Resolve, who will join AppWork’s board of directors.
AppWork’s solution connects residents, technicians and property teams in real time — providing visibility, communication tools and automation throughout the entire maintenance lifecycle. The platform was built by property managers, for property managers, with the goal of addressing a historically overlooked but mission-critical function in multifamily housing.
