Editor’s Note: This story is the first installment in a special three-part series leading up to ROI-NJ’s upcoming fireside chat, “The Sandwich Generation.”

When Kirthi Mani joined CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA), she understood the gravity of the role she was stepping into. As Chief People Officer, she plays a key part in shaping the firm’s welcoming culture—one that fosters camaraderie, collaboration, and a sense of shared purpose. Her efforts ensure that CLA clients receive not only top-tier technical expertise but also highly personalized service in a seamless, people-first experience.
But Kirthi’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the office.
At home, she has another full-time role: that of a dedicated parent. She and her husband are deeply engaged in the lives of their two sons, Vik (16) and Vish (13), supporting a wide array of academic, athletic, and creative pursuits. From tennis and soccer to violin and enrichment programs like the Cambridge University Leadership initiative, the family juggles a full schedule—yet still makes time for idea-sharing, relaxation, and family vacations. Their approach is rooted in creating a joyful, love-filled environment where curiosity is nurtured and every opportunity to grow is encouraged.
Adding yet another layer to her already full life, Kirthi also provides long-distance care for her aging parents in India. As many in the “sandwich generation” know, this responsibility comes with emotional and logistical challenges. Whether it’s answering a late-night phone call or hopping on an international flight, she remains committed to being present for her parents when they need her most.

On May 14, Kirthi will bring her insight and experience to ROI-NJ’s upcoming fireside chat, “The Sandwich Generation,” at Galloping Hill Golf Club, Kenilworth. She will join by other guests Dr. Jessica Israel and Melissa Skrocki, Esq., as they discuss the multi-faceted demands of balancing careers, parenting, and caregiving.
Join us as Kirthi shares her strategies, struggles, and solutions for navigating the complex landscape of modern working parenthood and eldercare—offering an inspiring example of strength, balance, and grace.
