Bergen County Executive James J. Tedesco III and the Board of County Commissioners announced the return of the Bergen County Care Fair, which will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4 at the Bogota Savings Bank Center on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University, 100 University Plaza Drive.
Billed as Bergen County’s largest health, wellness and support services event, the Care Fair will bring together more than 250 health care providers, community support agencies and wellness professionals. The event aims to be a one-stop resource for residents seeking information and access to physical and mental health services, support programs and financial or housing assistance.
“The return of the Bergen County Care Fair marks an important step forward in our continued commitment to making health, wellness and support services more accessible to all residents,” Tedesco said in a statement. “Whether you are a parent, senior, veteran or simply seeking guidance, this event is designed to simplify the process and connect individuals directly with the resources they need.”
Held for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, the Care Fair was originally launched to help residents navigate the often-complex health care and social service landscape.
“The Bergen County Care Fair is an opportunity for our residents to become more informed about the wide range of services available to them,” said Commissioner Chairwoman Mary Amoroso. “This event reflects our commitment to building a community that is supportive, inclusive and well-connected.”
