Dental implants practice expanding in Sewell

A dental implants practice will break ground Wednesday afternoon on a 15,000-square-foot facility in Sewell that will nearly triple the size of the current practice.

The expansion of South Jersey Periodontics & Dental Implants at 340 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, is the brainchild of Daniel Kubikian, DMD, who opened his practice 16 years ago. In 2022, he embarked on a plan to grow the practice, which will be located at 336 Egg Harbor Road in Sewell. The target for the opening is May 2026, depending on the weather.

The expansion will bring more jobs to Gloucester County. There are currently 25 people employed at the practice and the job number could rise to as many as 35.

The new facility will be known as Washington Manor and will house dedicated areas for patient care and consultations and amenities for staff and patient caretakers. It will also be a teaching facility for continuing education that attracts dentists, surgeons, hygienists and other professionals from throughout the area.

Among those scheduled to attend the groundbreaking ceremony are Mayor Anthony DellaPia; Daniel Kubikian, DMD;,Commissioner Joann Gattinelli; President/CEO Anthony DeSimone; Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Janet Garraty.

Gloucester County had 311,783 residents as of July 1, 2024, according to U.S. Census Bureau data. It ranks 14th in population among New Jersey counties and is the second-fastest-growing county in New Jersey behind Ocean County.
