Mount Laurel’s Arbor Terrace wins senior living award

Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel has been named one of New Jersey’s best senior living facilities in America in Seniorly’s annual Best of Senior Living Awards for 2025. The facility ranked No. 2 out of 336 facilities.

Seniorly partnered with Skypoint — a leading generative data company — to mine and analyze the customer and family reviews of senior living facilities to create a sentiment rating across six categories: cleanliness, dining services, staff ratings, value, care services and overall resident satisfaction. The 336 facilities were chosen after analyzing 500,000 online reviews across 60,000 facilities.

Arbor Terrace executive director Punam Patel is thrilled for the accolade — and the facility’s team.

“We feel incredibly honored and proud to be recognized as one of New Jersey’s best senior living communities,” she said. “This achievement is a true reflection of the dedication and hard work our entire team puts in every single day. I’m extremely thankful to our staff for always going above and beyond in caring for our residents — not just meeting their needs but truly enriching their lives. This recognition means the world to us.”

To qualify for the awards, communities must be in the top 5% of Seniorly’s consumer sentiment ratings, be free of serious licensing violations for the last 36 months and have no evidence of negative media coverage for the last 24 months.

The Best of Senior Living award is unique from other industry awards in that it also includes smaller senior living communities, often called “board-and-care” homes. These communities are vital to the senior living infrastructure and often provide high-quality care at exceptional value.

“Our strength lies in hiring the right people who are passionate and dedicated to making a difference,” said Patel. “We foster a culture of collaboration, where listening, learning and holding ourselves accountable are essential to continuous growth.

“Ensuring safety and cleanliness is essential for promoting well-being and fostering a secure and healthy environment,” she added. “Every individual’s story matters, and we take pride in creating meaningful connections. Our exceptional care, elevated dining experiences and dynamic activities programs reflect our dedication to enhancing the lives of those we serve.”

“We’re thrilled to recognize the exceptional work of Seniorly’s Best of Senior Living Award 2025 winners,” said Arthur Bretschneider, CEO of Seniorly, on its website. “By honoring these outstanding communities, we hope to broadcast the positive impact that the right living community can have on the aging experience, including physical health indicators, cognitive health, social engagement and overall well-being and happiness.”
Patel noted the key to Arbor Terrace’s success.

“One of [our] best qualities is the genuine, homely environment we’ve created,” she said.

“From the moment you walk through our doors, the warmth and connection are felt — it’s something that truly sets us apart. We’re not just a senior living community; we’re a close-knit family.”
