Associated Builders & Contractors N.J. opens new training office

The Associated Builders and Contractors New Jersey Chapter has opened a new regional office in Morris Plains, aiming to bolster its presence in the northern part of the state and expand workforce development programs.

Located at 51 Gibraltar Drive, the new space includes offices, meeting areas, and a state-of-the-art apprenticeship classroom. The facility will host training sessions, events, and community outreach initiatives, including a summer camp for middle school students exploring careers in construction.

“Establishing a strong presence in Northern New Jersey has been a long-standing goal,” said Samantha DeAlmeida Roman, president and CEO of ABC New Jersey. “We couldn’t be more excited to provide this resource for our members and the broader community.”

The chapter represents more than 1,600 construction companies statewide and supports tens of thousands of industry professionals. Evan Tarabocchia, ABC NJ chairman and president of Imperial Flooring Systems, said the permanent location will help deepen relationships and better serve members in the region.

The opening aligns with ABC New Jersey’s continued push to strengthen the skilled trades pipeline and support merit shop contractors across the state.
