Cornerstone at Galloway underway in Atlantic County

Phase one construction of Cornerstone at Galloway in Atlantic County is underway, according to Walters, an award-winning developer based in Barnegat, N.J.

When completed, the new, premium income-restricted apartment community will offer a total of 198 units in nine buildings. The development is designed to achieve LEED and ENERGY STAR status for incorporating sustainable features.

Phase one will include 66 units and is slated to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. Phase two is expected to begin once phase one is completed. Residents will also enjoy an array of on-site amenities such as a multipurpose clubhouse with a state-of-the-art fitness center, a children’s tot lot, a basketball court, computer workstations and onsite parking. In addition to managing the property, Walters provides residents with on-site supportive services.   

Galloway Township offers proximity to Atlantic City and nearby attractions such as historic Smithville Village. Residents also have easy access to local beaches and many other recreational facilities.   

Cornerstone at Galloway apartments are available to residents whose incomes are at or below 60% of the area’s median income.
