Cresa, a leading occupier-centric commercial real estate firm, has named Tony Juliano to Managing Principal—Northeast Region. In this expanded role, Juliano will support the firm’s New Jersey and New York City offices with growth, recruiting, M&A activity and client service delivery, building on a proven track record of success in the Philadelphia market.
“The Tri-State area is a significant and important region for our clients, and we are thrilled to infuse additional resources into this area,” said Cresa President Greg Schementi. “Since joining the firm, Tony has successfully spearheaded major corporate initiatives, and we now look to him to bring his leadership and expertise to the area, working closely with Cresa teams across key markets to drive continued expansion and innovation in the Northeast region.”
Juliano, who joined Cresa as Philadelphia market leader in 2021 from JLL, said that once the economic uncertainty swirling around international trade and tariffs settles down that the Northeast region should see a robust office recovery.
“There are very encouraging signs in the Northeast region with a marked ‘return to office’ trend as new sublease space coming onto the market has slowed substantially, if not stopped in some submarkets, and corporate decision-making has ramped up across the board,” he said in an email. “There will continue to be instances of office buildings going into special servicing or foreclosure, but a strong trend in ‘flight-to-quality’ will solidify the Class A office space and keep the strong landlords going.”
Juliano has been instrumental in building Cresa’s platform in Philadelphia and enhancing the firm’s market presence there. Over the past four years, he has established Cresa’s local Industrial and Project Management Groups — bolstering the latter via the acquisition of NorthStar Owners Representation. Revenue has more than doubled during this time, and headcount now stands at more than 30. Juliano also oversaw the opening of Cresa’s Center City office, its second location in Philadelphia, in 2022.
“I am thrilled to take on this new role and build on the momentum we have established in Philadelphia,” said Juliano. “I’m looking forward to working with our incredibly talented teams in New Jersey and New York to strategically expand and strengthen Cresa’s business and presence in the region.”
