Hosein joins Oakland Rehab & Healthcare Center

Oakland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Bergen County welcomes cardiologist Kevin Hosein, M.D., to its clinical leadership team; he is serving as co-director of the skilled nursing center’s established Cardiopulmonary Care program. Located at 20 Breakneck Road in Oakland, the 215-bed facility is an American Heart Association Heart Failure Certified Skilled Nursing Center.

Affiliated with Englewood Health, Dr. Hosein is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease, with additional certification in cardiovascular CT, adult echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is also a registered physician in vascular interpretation.

Oakland’s cardiac rehab services focus on promoting independence and quality of life through reducing symptoms and decreasing disability in heart patients. Cardiac rehab is designed to assist individuals suffering from challenging or life-threatening heart conditions, including those recovering from a cardiac event or surgical procedure, and those at risk for cardiovascular disease.

“Oakland has earned its reputation as a destination of choice for next-level skilled nursing care and services,” said Christina Albano, regional director of market development at Marquis Health Consulting Services, which supports Oakland. “The center is pleased to welcome Dr. Hosein to its talented clinical team, working together in aiming to provide the very best outcomes for all those in their care.”
