The Zoological Society of New Jersey, Inc., the nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Essex County’s Turtle Back Zoo and promoting conservation, education and public engagement with wildlife, announced the appointment of John D. Fanburg to its executive board.
Fanburg brings over four decades of legal and strategic expertise to the Society. A prominent health-care attorney who is the managing member of Brach Eichler LLC, and health-care law chair, he has a long-standing reputation for excellence in corporate, transactional and regulatory matters. Fanburg has represented major hospitals, specialty medical groups and health-care investors nationwide, and he is consistently recognized among the top legal professionals in his field, including rankings in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, NJBiz Power 50 in Law and ROI-NJ Top Health Care Influencers list.
Fanburg’s wide-ranging experience includes structuring complex health-care ventures, advising on mergers and acquisitions, and guiding private equity transactions — skills that will be invaluable in advancing the Society’s mission.
