John Gallucci Jr., president and CEO of Bridgewater-based JAG Physical Therapy, was appointed the board director for affiliate members at the Alliance for Physical Therapy Quality and Innovation.
APTQI was established in 2014 to defend physical therapy against policy threats that restrict the provider community’s ability to provide quality care. The organization considers ongoing cuts to Medicare physician fees as a policy threat.
Gallucci’s leadership role in the organization comes at a crucial time for the profession, as APTQI works to protect and expand access to quality rehabilitative care nationwide through advocacy work in Washington D.C.
Gallucci is the CEO of one of the largest physical therapy providers in the Northeast. It has facilities in all five New York City boroughs, approaching locations in all 21 NJ counties, and is getting into the Pennsylvania market.
