Valley Health System said Tuesday that Will Neate joined as senior vice president of ambulatory care services for Valley Health System.
Among Neate’s responsibilities is overseeing Valley Medical Group, the health-care system’s physician practice comprises 90 practices across 36 locations.
“Valley has an excellent reputation for delivering the highest quality care and service,” said Neate. “I hope to build upon this incredible foundation to advance Valley’s ambulatory care services across the region and continue to be the healthcare provider of choice for the residents of Bergen and Passaic counties, and beyond.”
Prior to joining Valley, Neate spent 18 years at Atlantic Health System, where he served as vice president of the physician enterprise and the market leader for Atlantic Health System’s southern region. In these roles, he was responsible for the growth and development of provider relationships and partnerships; oversight of primary care and specialist groups; and the advancement of Atlantic Health’s unique ambulatory physician network in Hunterdon, Somerset, and Middlesex counties. Valley said he played a significant role in the development of Atlantic Health Partners, a systemwide multi-specialty group, and assisted in the creation of several joint venture relationships.
Previously, Neate oversaw Atlantic Health’s cardiovascular service line and the establishment of the flagship Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute.
Neate is a former New York City paramedic and 9/11 World Trade Center survivor.
