Benjamin Ross manages sale of Short Hills pediatric practice

Benjamin Ross Group, a mergers and acquisitions/business brokerage firm based in Princeton announced Tuesday that ABA Unlimited has acquired BehaviorWise, a pediatric behavioral health & counseling practice located in Short Hills. Because of confidentiality agreements with the buyer and seller, a purchase price was not disclosed.

The BehaviorWise practice was established in 2011. It specializes in providing mental health services for children, primarily those with autism, phobias, separation anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, and defiant problems. The 10-person practice focuses on enhancing key skills in daily living, social interactions, leisure activities, academics, and functional communication while also aiming to reduce behavioral challenges. 

ABA was formed to purchase BehaviorWise. The owner, a licensed psychologist, has another practice in Branchburg. The Benjamin Ross Group said there will be no layoffs as a result of the acquisition.
