Rebels vs. the Empire … Jedi vs. Sith … stormtroopers vs. smugglers … all manner of Star Wars characters met on the decks of the Battleship New Jersey at the Camden Waterfront on Star Wars Day (May 4 – as in “May the Fourth Be With You”).
Visitors who came in Star Wars character costumes received a 50 percent discount on admission tickets to the Battleship New Jersey museum.
Tours of the Battleship New Jersey are available every day from 10 am to 4 pm – for everyone – not just Star Wars characters.
The Battleship New Jersey offers hands-on exhibits: guests can sit in the command chair on the bridge, stretch out on sailor’s bunks and climb into gun turrets to learn how projectiles were loaded.
Additional promotional events coming up for the Battleship New Jersey include overnight stays, twilight tours, family fun days, the Battleship Beef Fest and July 4 fireworks viewing on the Delaware River.
