The STRO Companies –
The STRO Companies, the real estate operating company for the Millstein Family Office, said Monday that Gabriel Shiff has been appointed as chief operating officer.
As STRO’s COO, Shiff will take a leadership role in directing STRO’s acquisitions, capital markets, leasing, accounting and finance, construction & development, and asset & property management functions and initiatives. He will work alongside STRO founder and principal, Steven Millstein, to enhance the value of the properties STRO currently services, grow the portfolio in its existing markets and expand into new ones in the Southeast.
Shiff previously served as COO at Roseland Residential, the residential platform of Mack-Cali, a developer, owner and manager of luxury residential and mixed-use assets located in the Northeast. During his tenure, he led Roseland’s growth from 7 to 24 operating assets, increasing average ownership and net operating income. Gabriel executed over $3 billion in acquisitions and dispositions and over $4 billion in debt financing and equity raises.
Before his tenure at Roseland, Gabriel was an analyst at Bear, Stearns, & Company’s Real Estate, Gaming, and Lodging (REGAL) Investment Banking Group.
“His experience and mentoring of our children, who recently joined STRO, will prove invaluable as we continue our rapid growth in Northern New Jersey and the Southeast,” said Steven Millstein.
