Lisa M. Franconeri, president and chief executive officer of Haven Savings Bank, has expanded her leadership role at the Hoboken-based bank following her appointment as director of the board, effective June 1.
Franconeri has been with Haven Savings Bank for nearly four decades. She was named president and CEO earlier this year, after serving as senior vice president and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) officer. John H. Wessling III will continue to serve as chairman of the board.
Throughout her career, Franconeri has developed experience across lending, portfolio management, CRA practices, budgeting, marketing, and strategic planning. As CRA officer, she launched programs to help low- to moderate-income borrowers achieve first-time homeownership. Franconeri has also played a role in expanding the bank’s marketing initiatives.
“Lisa’s strategic vision, operational expertise, and unwavering commitment to our customers and communities make her an outstanding addition to the Board,” said Wessling. “Her leadership continues to guide Haven Savings Bank into its next chapter of growth and service.”
In 2022, Franconeri was named Business Leader of the Year by the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce for her contributions to community development and support for the next generation of female banking leaders.
Haven Savings Bank, founded in 1938, is based in Hoboken and has branches in Berkeley Heights, Madison, Summit, Livingston, Secaucus, Upper Montclair, Westfield and Westwood.
