The TiE-NJ, part of TiE Global, one of the largest networks of entrepreneurs in the world, held its 2025 Gala and Awards event this past Sunday at The Ashi in North Brunswick.
The event brought together a community of entrepreneurs and innovators to celebrate the achievements of New Jersey’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“As we face the new frontier of AI, TiE-NJ has become a key player in New Jersey’s innovation ecosystem, and the future looks brighter than ever,” said TiE-NJ President Suresh Kumar.
The following award recipients were honored during the evening:
- Excelsior Award: Jaswinder (Jassi) Chadha, Founder/CEO of Axtria
- Entrepreneur of the Year Award: Jyoti Vazrani, President of Futran Solutions
- Hall of Fame Award: Badri Nittor, Past President, TiE-NJ
- Best SIG or Program Award: TiE NJ Nurture Program
- GRIT Award: Ioanna Onasi, Founder of Dextego.com
The event featured talks from industry leaders like Teik Lim, president of NJIT, and a fireside chat between Welsely Mathews, CEO of ChooseNJ and Excelsior award winner, Jassi Chadha. Also that evening, Diya Mathews was announced as the first woman president of TiE-NJ.
