AvalonBay Communities Inc. recently celebrated the completion of Avalon Princeton on Harrison, the latest addition to the company’s burgeoning New Jersey portfolio, which now includes 22 communities and more than 7,300 units.
The four-story, mid-rise community located at 275 North Harrison St, in Princeton has 200 apartment homes. The community is located within the Princeton Shopping Center and near Grover Park and a short distance from Princeton University. The community is near Route 27, US-1, and US-206.
“This latest addition to our Princeton portfolio underscores AvalonBay’s long-term commitment to investing in strong locations in high-quality markets,” said AvalonBay Senior Vice President Ron Ladell.
“By revitalizing a key area along Harrison Street and integrating new housing with existing retail, it brings meaningful benefits to our residents: increased walkability, support for local businesses, and much-needed housing diversity,” said Princeton Mayor Mark Freda.
Avalon Princeton on Harrison features studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes, several with dens and lofts, for lease. High-end offerings include gourmet kitchens with white quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and tile backsplashes. Outside amenities include a fitness center and studio, co-working spaces and private work-from-home pods, a swimming pool with a sun deck, and a WAG Pet Spa for furry friends.
Over the past 12 months, AvalonBay has also completed communities in Montville and Somerville. AvalonBay has communities under construction in Wayne, Parsippany, Roseland, and West Windsor.
