Avidon Health debuts digital wellness platform aimed at small businesses

Avidon Health, known for its corporate wellness programs, Tuesday announced the launch of a wellness platform targeting small and mid-sized businesses. Avidon Health says the platform gives small human resources teams a fast, affordable way to support employee wellness.

New research from SHRM and HR.com shows that HR teams are overwhelmed, employee burnout is on the rise, and wellness program expectations keep growing. A 2024 SHRM report revealed that more than 70% of HR professionals say burnout is worsening, yet small and mid-sized businesses lack the time, budget, and headcount to launch traditional wellness platforms — most of which were designed for the Fortune 500 companies.

“We’ve seen firsthand how effective health coaching can change lives,” said Clark Lagemann, CEO and co-founder of Avidon Health. “But for too long, the best tools were priced out of reach for smaller companies. We rebuilt everything to serve the teams who need it most — those doing more with less.”

Among the wellness features Avidon touts are:

  • Built on Behavior Science: Personalized digital health coaching, backed by proven methods
  • Quick-Start Wellness: Courses, challenges, and engagement tools that work out of the box
  • Simple Pricing: Plans starting for less than $3 per employee per month
  • Instant Access: Launch in minutes, not months — no sales calls required
  • Live Coach Support (Optional): Add human guidance only if and when it’s needed

“Wellness doesn’t need to be complicated,” added Tim Aumueller, co-founder and president of Avidon Health. “It just needs to work. We built this platform to make it easy for teams to take action — and show results — fast.”

Avidon Health’s coaching programs have reached hundreds of thousands of employees across major health systems and Fortune 500 companies. The company was founded and built in New Jersey and is now fully remote.
