MAD Global Strategy, a public affairs firm with New Jersey offices in Columbus, Montclair, and Trenton, Monday announced that it opened its newest office in Charleston, W.Va., as the firm extends its regional growth and ongoing investment in the state’s policy and public affairs.

Gov. Patrick Morrisey’s fundraiser, George Shalhoub, will join MAD Global as vice president. The office is located at 1038 Quarrier St. in West Virginia’s capital.

MAD Global Partner, Jai Chabria, served as chief strategist to Gov. Morrisey’s winning campaign last November. MAD Global has been working in the Mountain State for years.

“We are thrilled to work on projects which will support the governor in achieving his vision to help the state win the ‘Backyard Brawl,’” said Chabria.

For over five years, Shalhoub has been a key fundraiser for Patrick Morrisey’s gubernatorial and attorney general campaigns, helping raise a combined total of more than $27 million.

“From navigating West Virginia’s fast-moving political landscape to advancing policy goals that will shape the region, MAD Global is excited for what’s ahead,” said Mike DuHaime, founder and CEO, MAD Global.
