
After abruptly cancelling its 2024 air show, Atlantic City is back in the air show business for the summer of 2025.
Guests along the Atlantic City shoreline and boardwalk can look to the clouds on July 15-16 for an air show produced by Herb Gillan Airshows, an Ohio-based company.
The air show is a highlight of Atlantic City’s week-long “Soar and Shore” festival, which runs from July 14-20.
The air show will feature:
- A Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-17 soviet fighter jet from the cold war era;
- 177th Fighter Wing of the NJ NG will have four F-16s do a flyby
- B-25 Mitchell Bomber from WWII
- Nathan Hammond’s Super Chipmunk aerobatics
- Third strike Wingwalking and acrobatics
- Misty Blue all-women parachuting team
- UH-1H Huey helicopter – Vietnam era helicopter
- Skip Stewart award winning aerobatic daredevil
- Classic U.S. Navy F4F Wildcat
- Warbird thunder acrobatic team
July 15 is scheduled as a practice day and July 16 is show day. On both days, the air show will run from noon to 2:30 pm.

Championship Fishing: Jimmy Johnson’s “Quest for the Ring” Fishing Championship at the Frank S. Farley State Marina at the Golden Nugget Hotel Casino and Marina – there will be nightly weigh-ins and activations.

Second annual car show at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall from 2 pm to 5 pm – free car show, food trucks and pipe organ demos

Silent Movie Experience showing “Sherlock Jr. and “Two Tars” with live organ at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall at 6 pm.
July 16 at 9 p.m.
Beachfront Fireworks Display by Grucci – spectacular display over the water
July 17 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
ESPN’s Slippery Stairs – a whacky competitive stair-climbing game show at the Missouri Ave. Beach.
