Three Vietnam veterans share writings, stories at New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Museum and Memorial

The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial & Museum in Holmdel will host a book signing featuring Vietnam Veterans and museum docents Jim McGinnis, Joe Rosato and Carl Burns on Monday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All three veterans will be present to sign copies of their published works and share personal insights into their experiences and the inspirations behind their writing. 

McGinnis is the author of “Romeo 1-1”, his personal account of his service during the Vietnam War. 

Joe Rosato is the author of “Voices over Troubled Waters” and “Dog Tags and Wedding Bands” which explores the emotional depth and lasting impact of military service. 

Carl Burns is the author of “Centaurs in Vietnam: Untold Stories of the First Year” which recounts his time as a helicopter pilot with the 3rd Squadron, 4th Calvary – when air calvary tactics were being developed early in the war. 

Guests will be able to meet and converse with the authors during the event. 

Light refreshments will be served.
