Saiber LLC said that the law firm added Marc D. Freedman as member and Steven M. Friedland as counsel, effective July 1. Both joined from the boutique firm Freedman & Friedland LLC, bringing decades of experience in corporate and employment law, particularly within the staffing industry.
Freedman joined Saiber’s business services group as a member. He has an extensive background in employment and corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.
Freedman previously served as general counsel and senior executive officer at the National Association of Personnel Services, a leading staffing and recruiting association. His experience includes corporate acquisitions, securities compliance, labor relations, defending employers in discrimination matters and class actions, restrictive covenant litigation, risk management, and strategic consulting for senior executives. Freedman is general counsel to the New Jersey Staffing Alliance.
Friedland will join the firm as counsel in the litigation practice group. He brings over two decades of experience defending employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, as well as representing businesses in commercial litigation. Friedland also counsels clients on workplace matters and drafts agreements, policies, and compliance materials.
