Blue Foundry Foundation donates to nine New Jersey nonprofits

Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation, Blue Foundry Bancorp’s foundation for supporting philanthropic efforts in New Jersey, awarded $63,750 to nine nonprofit organizations during the second quarter of 2025.

The foundation supports the efforts of organizations that fall under these categories: affordable housing, education, health and human services, and youth programs.

The nonprofits awarded in the second quarter are:

Family Promise of Morris County

Mobilizing community resources and people to end homelessness and housing instability faced by families and individuals by providing services leading to independence.

Center for Hope and Safety Inc.

Assisting adults and children who are victims of domestic violence, including emotional, economic, sexual and physical abuse. CHS raises awareness, provides services, and educates community members about domestic violence.

Life Opportunities Unlimited

Table to Table

Rescuing healthy surplus food from 400+ donors and delivering it for free to a network of 250+ community agencies serving those facing food insecurity.

Homesharing Inc.

Creating affordable housing solutions by matching those seeking housing with those who need additional income or services to maintain their homes, while fostering independence and dignity.

More Than Bootstraps

Building a community of first-generation, low income, underrepresented students who empower each other to access and succeed in higher education.

Bergen Family Center Inc.

Strengthening communities by providing services to individuals, families and children that enhance their ability to function independently, manage challenges and improve their lives.

Community Lifestyle

Empowering youth and teens by fostering a sense of value, purpose, belonging, and trust, while guiding their personal development.

Boys & Girls Club of Northwest New Jersey

Empowering young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. Each year, it serves 6,000 children, from infants as young as six weeks to young adults up to 18 years old.

“These grants reflect our dedication to New Jersey, supporting the services that build stronger communities and a brighter future.” said James D. Nesci, president and chief executive officer of Blue Foundry Bank and Vice President of Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation.

In addition to issuing grants, Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation supports Blue Foundry Bank’s Community Impact Program, giving their employees the opportunity to serve the neighborhoods where they live and work. In the second quarter, they collaborated with Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity, working to help build a home for a family in need in the community.

Blue Foundry Bancorp is the holding company for Blue Foundry Bank, a place where things are made, purpose is formed, and ideas are crafted. Headquartered in Rutherford, with presence in Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset and Union counties,
