Relief Mental Health announced that David Krasnov, PMHNP‑BC, has joined its award‑winning team in Red Bank.
Krasnov is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides medication management for children (age 7+), adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety and other issues — offering both in-person care at the Red Bank clinic and virtual appointments throughout New Jersey.
He also administers SPRAVATO (esketamine), an FDA‑approved nasal spray used for adults 18+ for treatment‑resistant depression or depression accompanied by suicidal thoughts. It acts quickly — often relieving symptoms within hours to days — by targeting glutamate neurotransmission and promoting synaptic plasticity.
Krasnov prioritizes a compassionate, stigma-free environment. He listens deeply to each patient and collaborates on individualized treatment plans. When appropriate, he incorporates other relief services such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and therapy to ensure comprehensive care.
He holds a Master of Science in nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in cell biology & neuroscience from Rutgers University. He is board‑certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Krasnov is fluent in English and Russian, and he welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds. His clinical experience spans voluntary and involuntary inpatient psychiatric units, including pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patients. He has worked with individuals facing a wide range of diagnoses, including mood disorders, anxiety and neurocognitive conditions such as ADHD.
